Campground and Festival Rules
1. Alcohol – No alcoholic beverages allowed in the concert or vendor area and is restricted to your campsite. This is a family function. Maine state law prohibits anyone under the age of 21 to possess or consume alcohol or for anyone to furnish alcoholic beverages to anyone under 21. No glass containers please. Anyone appearing intoxicated, acting abusive, immodestly dressed or causing trouble will be removed from the premises. No loud, rude, crude, or disrespectful behavior toward others or campground property.
2. Dogs - There is a $10.00 fee per pet. Protective or aggressive pets are not welcome. Pets not allowed in the concert or vendor area or any buildings. Pets should not be left alone or allowed to bark constantly or consistently. Pets should be cleaned up after and waste placed in a sealed bag and placed in a dumpster. No more than 2 pets per site. Pets to be on a short leash at all times. If a pet creates a disturbance or is a nuisance it will be required to leave immediately.
3. Children – Parents must know where their children are and be responsible for their behavior at all times. Ages 6 and under must be escorted to and from restrooms. Young children not allowed to wander alone on trails. Please use appropriate discretion. Teen youth to be with an adult or at an adult supervised site by 10:00. Younger children buy dark.
4. Fireworks and Firearms – Prohibited in campground.
5. Campfires – Campfires in contained fire pits or rings, never left unattended, and burn only wood no rubbish or leaves. We are a conservation and forestry park so please be mindful of our trees.
6. Garbage – Do not leave food and/or drink waste or residue of any kind in fireplaces or exposed to the air. It draws flies and other pests to the area. State law prohibits wastewater discharge onto the ground. Please put normal garbage waste only bagged and placed in covered containers near outhouses. Do not leave trash or garbage anywhere on your site when you leave.
7. ATV`s – No unauthorized motorized vehicles allowed. Speed limit for all vehicles 5mph maximum One vehicle per campsite all others to be left in day parking area.
Due to the nature of the music festival “Field Picking” or playing music around the campfire till whenever is allowed. So if you require quiet try to be aware of your neighbors intent when picking a site. We suggest you use the first field, where late campfires and field picking will not be allowed. Gates open at 8:00 in the morning. Please try to arrive and get set up in a manner and time that is least disruptive to the festival. Power tools and generator not to be used in Front field during shows.
Persons using Stonehedge camping and festival grounds, do so at their own risk and they assume full responsibility for injury or illness occurring to them or members of their party. Stonehedge assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, damaged, or stolen property occurring to anyone while on it`s grounds. Persons responsible for damage to Stonehedge property will be held responsible for repair or replacement costs of anything deemed necessary.
